Women's Lacrosse Falls at Top-Ranked Queens

CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Catawba College women's lacrosse team was defeated by the No. 1 ranked team in the country in the regular season finale on Satuday afternoon. The Royals of Queens University cruised to a 24-3 victory over the Lady Indians.

Queens scored nine unanswered goals in the first quarter to jump out to the early lead, and that lead eventually grew to 16-1 by halftime.

Caroline Falcone, Ella McCusker, and Mercedez Boucicaut scored Catawba's goals in the game as the Lady Indians dropped to 8-9 overall on the year.
