Willis leads Cross Country men to win at Tusculum

GREENVILLE, TN Ė The Catawba College men and the Tusculum women, led by first-place finishes from their top runners, won the 2004 Tusculum College Invitational Saturday morning on the TC campus. The Catawba women were runner-up to Tusculum. Junior Ryan Willis (Jonesboro, GA) led Catawba and was the menís top finisher, finishing with a time of 28:08. Sophomore Erik Petersen (Simsbury, CT) was second with a time of 28:30. Tusculum junior Ross Lewis (Morristown, TN) finished third (28:31). Tusculum's Amanda Musick's (Lebanon, VA) time of 19:12 is 16 seconds better than last year's winning performance. The Pioneers had three runners in the top five with freshman Jamie Dyke (Newport, TN) in third place with a time of 20:13 and sophomore Sarah Alston (Morristown, TN) in fifth at 21:05.
