Lowe helps Men's Golf to 7th place finish at PC Intercollegiate

CLINTON, SC -- Catawba College finished in a tie for seventh place out of 15 teams at the Presbyterian College Intercollegiate Menís Golf Tournament which concluded on Tuesday at the 6,806-yard, par 72 Musgrove Mill Golf Course. USC-Aiken held off the Bobcats of Georgia College and State University with a final round 294 to claim team title It marked the sixth straight tournament win for the Pacers. Catawba shot a two-day total of 614 with Aiken running away with the title on a total of 579. GCSU's John Tillery won the individual title with a two-round score of 139, including a final round 69. Scott Brown of USC Aiken finished second (140), one shot behind Tillery. Catawba was led by junior Richard Lowe (Johnson City, TN), who had consecutive rounds of 73 to place sixth.
