Men's Soccer grabs 1-0 thriller at PCCLINTON, SC – Catawba College netted an early goal and then held off a late Presbyterian College rally to pick up a 1-0 South Atlantic Conference victory in men's soccer action Saturday night at Martin Stadium. Catawba junior Zay-Zay Gilewala (Monrovia, Liberia) scored an unassisted goal in the 26th minute to put the Indians up for good. The Blue Hose had several opportunities to tie the score late in the game, by Catawba junior goalie Dan Fitzgerald came up with three big saves in the final two minutes to preserve the victory. Fitzgerald had four saves for the Indians, while PC's Mark Owens (Charleston, S.C.) finished the game with seven saves.
