LaRoche named to All-SAC Volleyball teamCatawba College junior Rachel LaRoche (Wilmington, DE) has been named to the All-South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Second Team. It is her first post-season honor from the SAC. LaRoche, of Concord High School, leads the Lady Indians in kills with 299, an average of 3.25 per game. She ranks fifth in the SAC in kills and sixth in hitting percentage. The junior ranks second on the team with 60 blocks and 29 services aces and has also added 152 digs. Catawba has a 12-13 record this season and won its last seven matches to close out the regular season. The Lady Indians placed sixth in the regualr season SAC race. The South Atlantic Conference is a NCAA II league comprised of eight schools in North Carolina, South Caroline and Tennessee.
