Men's Basketball to play Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

SALISBURY, N.C. Ė The Catawba College menís basketball team will face off against CIAA Champion Virginia Union in the 2005 NCAA II South Atlantic Regional on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at A.C. Jordan Arena on the campus of Bowie State University. Saturday winners will advance to semifinal round play on Sunday night with the regional final being held on Tuesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. The Indians, the tournamentís #7 seed, enter with a 23-6 record and are coming off a 76-72 semifinal loss to Tusculum in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament. Virginia Union, with a record of 24-4, is the #2 seed. The Panthers are coached by Catawba Hall of Famer Dave Robbins. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $7 for students. Tickets prices are per session with two sessions on Saturday and one each on Sunday and Tuesday. Other games on Saturday will pit #3 USC-Upstate (23-7) against #6 Winston-Salem State (22-7) at noon, #1 Bowie State (24-4) vs. #8 Tusculum (18-10) at 6 p.m. and #4 Kennesaw State (24-5) vs. #5 Columbus State (22-8). #####
