Men's Golf finishes third at Carolina Sands

WHITE LAKE, NC -- Catawba College finished third out of 12 teams at the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate Tournament which concluded on Sunday. UNC-Pembroke hosted by event at the 6,925-yard, par-72 Carolina Sands Golf Club. Coker won the event by six shots over Belmont Abbey, firing a 619 to the Crusaders’ 625. Catawba had a 626. Richard Lowe (Johnson City, TN) led the Tribe, tying for sixth on 155. He was five shots off the lead. Steven Harvey (Salisbury, NC) was 12th, shooting a 156.
