Swimming adds three for 2006-07 season
SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba College swimming coach, Betsy Graham, has announced the addition of three more student-athletes to the 2006-07 swim team.
Joining the men’s team is Patrik Drakes, of Stockholm, Sweden, while Andrea Clabaugh, of York, PA, and Brittany Harrigan, of Ruscom, Ontario, Canada, join the women’s squad. Drakes placed 15th at the World Cup Swim Meet in the breaststroke. He will make an immediate impact on the team and in the Bluegrass Conference. Clabaugh was a four-year letter-winner at Your Surburban High School. She was an Academic All-American and swam mostly breaststroke. She has also competed in butterfly and freestyle events and swims for the Trojan Aquatic Club in the Capital Area Swim League. Harrigan was a finalist in the Ontario State High School Championships in the 200 free and 1000 back. She set several school records ands was co-captain and team MVP and is a very versatile swimmer. #####
