Harvey helps Men's Golf to third place finish at Bay Medical

PANAMA CITY, FL -- Catawba College finished third out of 16 teams at the Bay Medical Intercollegiate Men's Golf Tournament held in Panama City, FL. Catawba hosted the event at the 6,541, par- 72 Hombre Golf Club. Kennesaw State, who entered the final round with an 11-shot lead, held off USC-Aiken by a single stroke to win the event. Kennesaw's Tomas Baker defeated Catawba's Steven Harvey (Salisbury, NC) by one shot to take individual honors. Baker and Harvey were among the co-leaders after the first round as each shot 73. Baker would fire a 74 on Tuesday, while Harvey came in with a 75. Carson-Newman Matthew Cram-Smith had the tournament's low round with a 69 on Tuesday to finish in a five-way tie for third on 149.
