Women's Tennis Drops 8-1 Decision to Newberry
Ladies to open SAC Tournament play at Tusculum
NEWBERRY, SC -- Catawba fell to host Newberry 8-1 in South Atlantic Conference women’s tennis action on Thursday afternoon at the Newberry Tennis Courts. Newberry swept the three doubles matches and Catawba picked up its lone point at #5 singles with Meri Cartmill earning a three-set win. Newberry improves to 9-6 overall and 6-1 in the SAC, while the Catawba Indians fall to 13-11 and 3-4.
