The Bobcat closed the gap to 11-9 midway through the third quarter, but a goal by Nick Desper (Carrboro, NC/Chapel Hill HS) at the 7:40 mark and another by Green 40 seconds later sparked an eight-goal run that gave Catawba a comfortable 19-9 lead with 13 minutes to play.
