Belmont Abbey got within 6-4 on a sacrifice fly by Caleb Shore (Landis, NC) in the fourth, but Alex Fairweather (Lenoir, NC/W. Caldwell HS) shook off a shaky start to pitch into the seventh. He allowed just two hits after the first inning.
