Tuohy Earns All-DSC Lacrosse Honors, Dolesh and McClimans Also Honored By The League

WINGATE, NC -- Catawba sophomore attack, Marty Tuohy (Weymouth, MA/Weymouth HS), has been named All-Deep South Conference in lacrosse for 2009.  Senior middie Mike Dolesh (Aquasco, MD/St. Mary’s Ryken HS) grabbed honorable mention honors.  Dolesh and sophomore goalie Colin McClimans (Washington, DC/The Maret School) were named to the DSC All-Tournament team.

Tuohy has racked up 25 goals this season, which ranks second on the team.  He has delivered a team-high 15 assists.  One of his goals was a game-winner and he has added 14 ground balls.

Dolesh ranks third on the team with 13 goals and has picked up six assists.  He scored three goals in the Indians’ 9-8 DSC Tournament loss to 10th-ranked Mars Hill.

McClimans saved 13 shots in the tournament loss to Mars Hill for a .591 save percentage.  On the season, he has tallied 111 saves with a .552 save percentage.  He has a 10.2 goals against average.
