Clapp Leads Men's Golf at Honda Columbia Fall Classic

PROSPERITY, SC -- Catawba finished 16th at the Honda Columbia Fall Classic on Saturday at the 6,633-yard, par-72 Mid-Carolina Country Club.  The one-day, two-round event was hosted by Newberry College, who won the tournament with a total of 551.  The Catawba Indians had a 614 total.. 

Jonathan Clapp (Greensboro, NC/W. Guilford HS) led Catawba with a 38th-place finish.  He had rounds of 73 and 74 to finish at 147.  Eric Schmehl (Shamong, NJ/Seneca HS) equaled Clapp with the low round on the Catawba team as he closed with a 73.
