(10/18/09) Field Hockey Falls 8-0 to #1 Bloomsburg BLOOMSBURG, PA -- Catawba fell 8-0 to NCAA II #1-ranked Bloomsburg in field hockey action on Sunday afternoon at Sports Stadium. The Huskies led 5-0 at the half and improved to 16-1. The Catawba Indians fall to 3-9. Bloomsburg held a 29-2 edge in shots and took the lead midway through the first half on a goal by Maggey Bloskey. The Huskies added two goals in less than a minute to go up 3-0 at the 22:01 mark. Amanda Riley had two goals and an assist to spark the hosts. Aime Sgarlat had a goal and an assist. Both Lady Indian shots came in the second half. Goalkeeper Bronwen Gainsford (Lewisville, NC/W.
