Hudson kept the Pioneers off the board until she left in the sixth, allowing the Lady Indians to rally.  Catawba pulled even in the fourth on a solo home run by Khourtni Hester (Waldorf, MD/McDonough HS).  Hester drove in two runs in the game one win.

Both teams stranded runners in scoring position in the late innings and the game went to extra frames and the international tiebreaker.  The Pioneers plated their run with a groundout to the left side to move pinch-runner Karly Eskew to third then Raquel Williams squeezed home the run.  Catawba lost its free runner in the eighth when Callie Gordy (Oak Ridge, NC/Pisgah HS) over slid third attempting to steal.

Jessica Fedor earned the win for Glenville State.  She went all eight innings, allowing two earned runs off eight hits.  Chelsea Claypole (Versailles, MO/Morgan Co.
