Men's Soccer Hosts 1st Annual "White Out" at Frock Field on Tuesday Night vs FMU
The Catawba College Men's Soccer Team returns to action at home for the first time in 10 days on Tuesday night as the 2-1-0 Indians take on the Patriots of Francis Marion University. The game will be the first game under the lights at Frock Field for the men in the 2010 season. The team is asking everyone in attendance to wear white, to match the all white home uniforms that will be worn at Frock Field this fall.
"Coming to Catawba is traditionally known as a tough place to play because of the soccer and alumni communities that continue to come back to see our program play," said Catawba Head Men's Soccer Coach Liam Farrell. "Having everyone wearing white on Tuesday against FMU will hopefully jumpstart a tradition of making Frock Field the toughest place to play in the South Atlantic Conference, not just on a few nights a year but each and every night."
The Indians will be looking to remain unbeaten in the friendly confines of Frock Field after beating USC-Aiken 3-1 on Saturday September 4th.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00p.m. on Tuesday, September 14th at Catawba College.
