The Indians used two fourth down stands in the second half and returned an interception for a score to improve to 2-1 on the year. Fayetteville State falls to 2-1. The Tribe took an early lead on its first possession, marching 74 yards in 12 plays. Luke Samples (Elkin, NC) hooked up with Cedric Squirewell (Ridgeway, SC) from 21 yards out on a third-and-20 for a 7-0 lead.
