Meeks and Young Earn SAC Volleyball Player of the Week Honors
ROCK HILL, SC -- After leading their team to an impressive 3-0 week, Catawba's Shay Meeks (Kings Mountain, NC/Kings Mountain HS) and Jenny Young (Roanoke, VA/Patrick Henry HS) are the recipients of the SAC weekly awards for week three. It was announced by the conference office on Monday.
Catawba's victories last week over Tusculum, Mars Hill and Lenoir-Rhyne improved its record to 9-2 overall. The Indians are off to a 4-1 start in the SAC, just behind undefeated Wingate in the league standings.
