Women's Tennis Rallies Past Barton to Stay Unbeaten

SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba moved to 3-0 in women's tennis action with a 6-3 win over visiting Barton on Wednesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center.  The Bulldogs fell to 1-1.

Catawba stormed back after dropping two of three doubles matches to win five singles matches to claim the win.  Andrea Bell (Franklin, NC/Franklin HS) and Rachel Rudisill (Gastonia, NC/Highland Tech) earned the win in doubles.  Singles wins came from Liz Renteria (Mirmar, FL/Archbishop McCarthy HS), Sloan Kessler (Onalaska, WI/La Crosse Aquinas), Ally Prior (Raleigh, NC/Wakefield HS), Lauren Sledd (Roanoke, VA/Cave Spring HS) and Olivia Myers (Lexington, NC/W. Davidson HS).
