Men's Tennis Drops 5-4 Decision at Lees-McRae

BANNER ELK, NC -- Catawba lost a tight 5-4 decision to host Lees-McRae in men’s tennis action on Thursday afternoon.  The Catawba Indians fall to 3-1, while the Bobcats win their opener. 

Catawba led 2-1 after doubles, winning at the #2 and #3 slots, but Lees-McRae rallied back to win four singles matches.  Pedro Nunes battled back from a set down at #1 to give the Bobcats the win.  Mitchell McDonald (Wellington, NEW ZEALAND/Paraparaumu) won in both singles and doubles for Catawba.
