Golf Signs Two for 2013-14 Season
SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba College golf coach, Sam Gealy, has announced a pair of early signings for the 2013-14 season. Joining the women’s team will be Ali Lindo, of Hiawatha, IA, while John Petronis, of Northfield, NJ, will join the men’s team.
Lindo has been a three-time MVP at John F. Kennedy High School. She has played in many local and Iowa state junior events and is expected to help solidify the middle of the Lady Indian line-up. Lindo also has the type of game that could improve and place her at the top of the line-up as her career progresses.
Petronis plays at Mainland Regional High School. He plays in many New Jersey junior events and has several seasons of JGA Tour tournament experience as well. Petronis should compete immediately for playing time and has the potential to develop into an outstanding player for Catawba.
