Indians Sit 14th After First Day of Richard Rendleman Invitational
SALISBURY, NC – The Catawba College men’s golf team finished the first day of the Richard Rendleman Invitational in fourteenth place with a team score of 325. Eighteen teams participated in the two day tournament hosted by Catawba and held at the par-71, 6,665 yard Country Club of Salisbury. Limestone currently holds a three stroke lead with a 305.
Tyler Rutherford currently leads the way for the Indians with an eighth place 76 on the day. Queens’ Alex Ware leads all golfers shooting par. Weather conditions played a large factor in today’s round as rain and sleet plagued the day.
The Indians look to jump up in the standing as they finish the Invitational on Tuesday.
