Rutherford and Hardman Earn Honorable Mention All-SAC Men's Golf Honors

ROCK HILL, SC -- Catawba’s Tyler Rutherford (Independence, VA/Grayson Co. HS) and Matt Hardman (Gettysburg, PA/Gettysburg Area HS) have earned South Atlantic Conference Men’s Golf honorable mention all-conference honors.  It was announced on Thursday by the SAC office.

Rutherford holds a slim lead over Hardman for the low stroke average on the team this season.  He has averaged 74.14 strokes over his 22 rounds and has led the team at four events.  The sophomore was medalist in the fall at the Full Moon BBQ Invitational as he closed with a career-best round of 66.  Rutherford also had a top 10 at the Hargett Memorial and has shot par or better in 10 of his rounds.
