Baseball Heads Back to Cary for NCAA II National Finals

SALISBURY, N.C. – Catawba College has advanced to the 2015 NCAA II Baseball National Finals.  The Catawba Indians earned their way by claiming the Southeast Region title with a 1-0 victory over North Georgia on Sunday at Finch Field in Thomasville, N.C.  It marks the second time Catawba has qualified for the Championship, also reaching the finals in 2012.

The Nationals Finals will be held from May 23-30 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.  It is hosted by the town of Cary and the University of Mount Olive.  More information on the tournament can be found at this link

The Catawba Indians will play their first game on Saturday night, May 23 at 7 pm against Wilmington, Del.  A fireworks show will follow the Catawba game.  Tickets can be purchased in advanced at this website:  Prices are $11.24 for a single day or $29.98 for a tournament pass for the entire event.
