Lady Indian soccer squad falls to #5 North FloridaSeptember 1, 2001 JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Fifth-ranked North Florida defeated Catawba 3-0 in women's soccer action at the UNF/Wingate Inn Labor Day Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Ospreys improve to 1-2 on the year, while Catawba falls to 0-1-1. Jenny Cadieu scored two goals in the second half to help North Florida pull away. Terri Moo-Youngput the Lady Ospreys ahead 1-0 at the 26 minute mark, on a throw-in from Valerie McEvoy, who recorded two assist in the game. Cadieu then scored on a header off a corner kick by Dana Hemke, just six minutes into the second half, and added another at the 65:00 mark. The second was headed into the net off a free kick from McEvoy. North Florida outshot the Lady Indians 23-1 and Lady Ospreys goalkeeper Caulli Chiscon recorded her first shutout of the year. Catawba keeper Kim Clayton (Haw River, NC) compiled six saves in the game.
