Women's Soccer adds three recruits

Catawba College women’s soccer coach, John Cullen, has announced the addition of three recruits for the upcoming season. Kim Crowley, of Glendale, AZ, Kelly Fearman, of Alliston, Ontario, CANADA, and Amanda Johnson, of Charlotte, NC. Crowley is 5-5 and played forward, midfield and defender at Ironwood High School. She was a four-year starter, leading the team in assists each year. Crowley was a three-time all-region pick and earned second team All-State honors. She helped the Eagles to the 5A state semifinals and two region titles. Fearman, a 5-9 striker, was a three-year performer at Banting Memorial High School. In 2000, she helped Banting to a district and provincial championship. In 2002, she helped the Unionville Strikers Club team to the League Cup Championship. Johnson, a 5-5 goalkeeper, was a three-time all-conference performer at West Mecklenburg High School. In 2003, she was also named all region and was West Meck’s Female Athlete of the Year. #######
