Hedrick Earns Top 10 Finish at McAmis Memorial
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -- Sophomore Victoria Hedrick (Lexington, N.C./C. Davidson) notched a 10th-place finish at the Agnes McAmis Memorial women's golf tournament. The two-round event, hosted by Tusculum, concluded on Tuesday at the 5,805-yard, par-72 Link Hills Country Club.
Hedrick followed her opening 79 with an 81 to card a two-round total of 160. Madison Moore (Westfield, N.C./E. Surry) had a 173 total and was 52nd.
Carson-Newman's Elizabeth England was the medalist. She posted a tournament low-round of 72 on Tuesday and won by five shots over Newberry's Nabila Inak and King's Elizabeth Swallow. Newberry rallied with a 313 to take the team title by a shot over Lincoln Memorial.
