Four to join Cross Country squad

SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba College cross country coach, Bill Haggerty, has announced his recruiting class for the upcoming season. Joining the program for the upcoming season will be three runners for the menís team and one for the ladies. The men are Nate Dozier, of Norfolk, VA, Brad Heron, of Williamsville, NY, and Erik Petersen, of Simsbury, CT. Rori Godsey, of Washington, DC, joins the womenís team. Dozier earned all-district honors at Norview High School and was named team MVP. Heron was a two-time all-league performer at Sweet Home High School. He was also a two-time team MVP for the league and sectional champion Panthers. Petersen, of Simsbury High School, was a two-time all-conference runner. He helped the Trojans to four conference titles. Godsey was a two-time all-conference runner at Archbishop Carroll High School. She was honorable mention all-metropolitan as a senior. #####
