Johnson Named to NCCSIA Women's Basketball All-State Team
SALISBURY, N.C. -- Catawba junior guard Bri Johnson has been named to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) 2015-16 College Division All-State Women’s Basketball Team. She was voted to the second team. The 10-member 2015-16 NCCSIA College Division Women’s Basketball All-State Teams are represented by 10 different North Carolina Colleges and Universities and was announced this week.
Johnson led Catawba and ranked second in the South Atlantic Conference in scoring at 15.8 points per game. She connected on 48 three-pointers and canned 83.9% of her free throw attempts. Johnson also chipped in with 4.4 rebounds a game, 50 assists and team-highs in both steals (36) and blocks (10).
