Men's Lacrosse Joins Face-Off for a Cause Event for Wounded Warrior Project
The Catawba College Men’s Lacrosse Team will be participating in the 2nd Annual Face-Off for a Cause on October 22 in Mount Berry, Georgia. The event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).
The WWP offers 20 holistic programs to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of charge and 100% of the funds raised through the this event go directly to Wounded Warrior Project to help fuel these programs. This cause helps the service men and women who fight to protect the freedom of this great country. Often times many of these inspiring individuals come home with wounds you can and cannot see, like a missing limb, combat stress, or depression. Because they’ve risked everything for us, I’m committed to raising awareness and funds for these wounded service members and their caregivers.
The lacrosse team would ask you to join in the effort and give what you can by donating through our page. Click the link below to donate. Thank you in advance for your support!
The event will take place at Valhalla Stadium and is being hosted by Berry College. Admissions is free for the event and a schedule of games is listed below.
