Football Gears Up For Annual Spring Game
With just a week remaining of spring practice, Head Catawba College Football Coach Curtis Walker, talked about the team heading into next weekend’s Blue-White Game.
“We are certainly progressing this spring,” said Walker. “I was pleased with several key players contributing at a high level. I look forward to continued growth over our last week of spring practice.”
In a recent practice on Saturday, Reid Carlton threw four touchdown passes with two going to Gavin Rose. Sam Mobley was the top target, leading the receivers in catches. Also on offense, Kenyatta Green was the leading rusher and Jourdan Osinskie made a huge third-down reception.
The Blue-White Game will be at noon on Saturday at Shuford Stadium and Kirkland Field.
