It was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Bowden, a senior from Salisbury, N.C., had a monster week at the plate for the Catawba Indians, batting .611 with four home runs, a double, a triple and 13 RBI. He allowed just one run on three hits with three strikeouts in an inning and two-thirds of work. He then secured the Eagle’s SAC series win over Newberry for his second win. He held Newberry scoreless in four and two-thirds innings of relief work, allowing just three hits and striking out six.
