RE: Rebounding from loss at Newberry
We didn't follow the gameplay up at Newberry in certain situations but we did for the most part. We held them to 63 points. Anytime you hold somebody who averages 90 points a game to just 63, it is a good day. Tonight we stuck to the game plan the whole night. We knew they want to drive the basketball, so we protected against that and took about 12 or 13 charges tonight.
RE: Thoughts on (Talia) Barnes performance
When she has a great night, we have a great night. She is an undersized post, which we have listed at 6’0”, but she is probably closer to 5’9”. She brings it every night, she plays hard and she's always ready. I'm tough on her and she takes it and she's always an even keel kid. Talia is a great kid on and off the court. RE: Thoughts on the run in the second quarter We had a couple plays that work tonight and put Tusculum in some bad situations where they had to move their feet and fouls came out of it today.
RE: Getting better
We are going to go back and watch film and see what we need to clean up. We need to continue to get better on the offensive side. We are going to hang out, watch film, have fun and continue to work on making the offense better each day. I’ll watch the film and make sure I'm on point with what happened in tonight’s game. Even though we won, there are things we did wrong. We will go back and correct those things before our next game.
