Bibey and Mulkey Tied For 10th Entering Final Round of SAC Championships
CAMDEN, S.C. -- Catawba stands eighth after two rounds of the South Atlantic Conference Men’s Golf Championships being held at the 6,526-yard, par-70 Camden Country Club. The Catawba Indians posted a 309 total on Monday and has a 603 score after two rounds.
Tanner Bibey and Tyler Mulkey stand in a tie for 10th overall. Mulkey followed his opening 72 with a 73 to stand on 145 after two rounds. Bibey shot a 76 after a 69 in the opening round. Hunter Donahue also shot a 76 on Monday.
Newberry will take a three-shot lead into Tuesday’s final round. The Wolves have a 573 total and lead Coker, who has shot a pair of 288s for a 576 total. Newberry’s Harry Bolton leads the individual race by a single shot with a one-under-par total of 139. Three golfers, Lenoir-Rhyne’s Dawson Walker, Queens’ Henry Bryden and Newberry’s Adrian Villiger, are at even par 140.
