Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame to Induct Four New Members
The 2010 Class to be inducted on Saturday, May 1st includes Reid Bradshaw '67 (Football and former Head Coach and AD at South Rowan HS), David Bennett (Head Football Coach here 1995-2001), Kevin Sloan '88 (Soccer) and Jowita Sokolowska '97 (Women's Basketball). Our  Hall of Fame Weekend will feature our annual Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Salisbury on Friday, April 30th at 1 pm and the Induction Ceremony will be Saturday, May 1st at noon in the Kirkland Lobby of Goodman Gymnasium.

Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame Announces Six New Members for 2009
Six new members will be inducted into the Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame on May 2, during the festivities of the Hall of Fame's 31st anniversary. The inductees are (with graduation year): Henry C. Bernhardt '50 of Salisbury; Randy Brown '89 of Evesham Township, N.J.; Todd Lipe '91 of Greenville, N.C.; Marvin Moore '99 of Concord; Tom Sexton '79 of Salisbury; and Selena Wilkes Tory '96 of Spartanburg, S.C.

Hall of Famers Gather for the 2008 Ceremony
Catawba College Sports Hall of Famers returned to campus for the 31st annual Hall of Fame festivities April 25th and 26th. 72 golfers enjoyed perfect weather and a cookout on the 25th and a crowd over 140 watched as Ginger Hamric, Herman Helms' 48 (d), Charlie Little' 64, Joe Popp' 52, Tracey Scruggs' 90, and Ralph Wager became the latest inductees into the Hall on April 26th.

Many Catawba Sports Hall of Fame Members Return for the 2007 Induction
36 members of the Catawba Sports Hall of Fame were on campus April 27th and 28th for the 30th annual Hall of Fame Weekend. The weekend began with beautiful weather for the annual Captain's Choice Golf Tournament followed by a cookout enjoyed by all.

Lentz (1956) of Kannapolis; Amy Price-Peters (1994) of Canton, Ga.; Robert C. Rathbun (1976) of Dunwoody, Ga.; and Clyde L. Walker (1951), deceased, formerly of Charlotte.

2005

Over 240 Return for 2005 Hall of Fame Weekend
Over 240 people, including 32 Hall of Fame members, participated in the 28th Annual Hall of Fame Weekend. 72 golfers played in the Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on Friday, April 1 at The Country Club of Salisbury. The 1:00 p.m. shotgun start was followed by a BBQ at the course. On Saturday, April 2, the Chiefs Club hosted the 2005 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The luncheon was held in the Kirkland Lobby of the Abernethy Physical Education Center and over 170 people were in attendance. Inducted this year were James Brown ’74, Thomas Ferland(d) ’86, Angela (Harbour) Mayfield ’93, and Mike Warfield ’91.

Hall of Fame Weekend Slated for April 1 & 2
Bill Pieczynski, Coordinator of the Chiefs Club, announced that the 2005 Hall of Fame Weekend will begin on Friday, April 1 with the annual golf tournament and conclude on Saturday, April 2 with the Induction Ceremony in the Kirkland Lobby. Details will follow, but we encourage all fans of Catawba Athletics to mark this special event on your calendar.

2004

Four Enter Hall of Fame for 2004Over 240 people, including 30 Hall of Fame members, participated in the 27th Annual Hall of Fame Weekend. Seventy-five golfers played in the Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on Friday, April 2 at The Crescent in Salisbury. On Saturday, April 3, four new members into the Catawba Sports Hall of Fame during the Induction ceremony where over 170 people were in attendance. Inducted this year were Brian Boltz '90, Joyce Robinson '91, Julian "Duke" Thompson '41, and Curtis Walker '93.

The Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1977 and this year’s inductees will bring the total number of members to 157.
