Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame Inducts Four New Members
Four new members were inducted into the 2012 Class of Catawba Sports Hall of Fame on April 28th, 2012 in Kirkland Lobby of Goodman Gymnasium on campus. Inductees included John D. Coble '52 (d), Scherrie A. Dalton '98, Gregory K. Payne '98, and Bill H. Wilhelm '57 (d).

 Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame Inducts Four New Members
Four new members were inducted into the Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 30, during the festivities of the Hall of Fame's 34th anniversary. The inductees were: Dwayne Brewington '82 of Montgomery Village, Md.; Lonnie Chandler '63 of New London; Tony DiPaolo '59 of Smoketown, Pa.; and Monte Jackson Turner '94 of Burlington. On Friday, April 29, the Hall of Fame Golf Tournament was held at The Country Club of Salisbury.

 Hall of Famers Gather for the 2008 Ceremony
Catawba College Sports Hall of Famers returned to campus for the 31st annual Hall of Fame festivities April 25th and 26th. 72 golfers enjoyed perfect weather and a cookout on the 25th and a crowd over 140 watched as Ginger Hamric, Herman Helms '48 (d), Charlie Little' 64, Joe Popp' 52, Tracey Scruggs' 90, and Ralph Wager became the latest inductees into the Hall on April 26th.

Many Catawba Sports Hall of Fame Members Return for the 2007 Induction
 36 members of the Catawba Sports Hall of Fame were on campus April 27th and 28th for the 30th annual Hall of Fame Weekend. The weekend began with beautiful weather for the annual Captain's Choice Golf Tournament followed by a cookout enjoyed by all.

Over 240 Return for 2005 Hall of Fame Weekend
Over 240 people, including 32 Hall of Fame members, participated in the 28th Annual Hall of Fame Weekend. 72 golfers played in the Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on Friday, April 1 at The Country Club of Salisbury. The 1:00 p.m. shotgun start was followed by a BBQ at the course. On Saturday, April 2, the Chiefs Club hosted the 2005 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The luncheon was held in the Kirkland Lobby of the Abernethy Physical Education Center and over 170 people were in attendance. Inducted this year were James Brown ’74, Thomas Ferland ’86 (d), Angela (Harbour) Mayfield ’93, and Mike Warfield ’91.

Four Enter Hall of Fame for 2004Over 240 people, including 30 Hall of Fame members, participated in the 27th Annual Hall of Fame Weekend.
 Seventy-five golfers played in the Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on Friday, April 2 at The Crescent in Salisbury. On Saturday, April 3, four new members into the Catawba Sports Hall of Fame during the Induction ceremony where over 170 people were in attendance. Inducted this year were Brian Boltz '90, Joyce Robinson '91, Julian 'Duke' Thompson '41, and Curtis Walker '93. |

The Catawba College Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1977 and this year’s inductees will bring the total number of members to 161.
Each member's name is followed by a graduation year, or for coaches, the years associated with Catawba College.
