Andy Brannigan joined the Catawba men’s soccer program as an assistant for the 2014 season.  In addition to helping coach at Catawba, Brannigan also assists in coaching both the varsity boys and girls soccer teams at South Rowan High School.

Brannigan has 20 years of coaching experience at the club, high school, and college levels in Memphis, Tenn.  His most recent positions were as head coach of the boys’ soccer program with St. Benedict at Aburndale High School, and as an Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach for women’s soccer with Rhodes College. 

A 1993 graduate of the University of Memphis, Brannigan earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.  He earned his second bachelor’s degree in health care management, graduating magna cum laude, from Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences (TN) in 2011.

Brannigan holds a USSF “C” license, a NSCAA National Diploma, and a NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 2 Diploma.  He and his wife, Amy, reside in Salisbury.
