Little and Edwards Earn SAC Men's Basketball Honors

ROCK HILL, SC – Catawba sophomore Tyrece Little (Greenville, NC/Rose HS) and freshman Elon Edwards (Greenville, NC/Rose HS) earned men’s basketball post-season honors from the South Atlantic Conference.  Little was voted second team all-conference honors, while Edwards earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team.

Men's Basketball Ends Season With Tourney Loss at Anderson

ANDERSON, SC -- The Catawba men’s basketball team finished its season on Wednesday as Anderson took down the Indians 80-72 in the first round of the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament at the Abney Center.  Four Trojan players scored double digits in the win.  Catawba closes out its season with a 10-17 record.  Anderson improves to 19-8 and advances to Saturday’s semi-final games in Greenville, SC.

Men's Basketball Loses to #19 LMU

HARROGATE, TN -- Lincoln Memorial never trailed in avenging an earlier upset by visiting Catawba, posting an 82-65 win in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action on Saturday night at Turner Arena.  The 19th-ranked Railsplitters claim the SAC Championship and improve to 22-4 overall and 15-3 in the SAC.  The Catawba Indians fall to 9-17 and 6-12.

Men's Basketball Upsets Carson-Newman to Get #7 Tourney Seed

SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba upset visiting Carson-Newman 60-58 in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action on Wednesday night at Goodman Gym.  The win gives the Catawba Indians the #7 seed in next week’s league tournament as they improve to 9-16 overall and 6-11 in the SAC.  The Eagles fall to 19-6 and 12-5.
