(8/25/10) Former Men's Golf Team Member Earns Spot in National Long Drive Contest  A former member of the Catawba College men's golf team, Todd Janssen, has qualified for the National Long Drive Competition to be held November 2 in Mesquite, Nevada. Janssen was a four-year letterman for Catawba from 2005-09. He posted a 77.78 stroke average over 35 career rounds.
 | (6/15/10) Golf Grabs Four Commitments for 2010-11 Season  SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba College golf coach, Sam Gealy, has announced commitments from four student-athletes for the upcoming 2010-11 season. A pair will join the women’s team in Jana Burkhardt (Willoughby, OH) and Leslie Long (East Bend, NC), while the duo committing to the men’s team is Thomas Bonney (Greensboro, NC) and Cash Green (Williamston, NC).
 | (4/20/10) Cline Posts Top 10 For Men's Golf at SAC Championships  HENDERSONVILLE, NC -- Catawba finished eighth at the 2010 South Atlantic Conference Men’s Golf Championships which concluded on Tuesday at the 6,796-yard, par-72 Etowah Valley Country Club. Brad Cline (Thomasville, NC/E. Davidson HS/UNCG) had the best finish for the Catawba Indians, placing ninth over three rounds.
 | (4/19/10) Clapp Earns All-SAC Men's Golf Honors  ROCK HILL, SC -- Catawba senior Jonathan Clapp (Greensboro, NC/W. Guilford HS) has earned second team All-South Atlantic Conference men’s golf honors. It was announced by the league office on Sunday. Clapp leads Catawba with a 73.88 stroke average this season.
